As you are doing your shopping this weekend pick up a little something extra and drop it in the box on your way in worship this Sunday! Or if you’re cleaning this weekend you can donate those uniforms, belts, etc that your little ones grew out of!

Off they go to South Carolina! Keep our youth and chaperones in your prayers as they travel and spend a week at camp. Praying for the Holy Spirit to move and for hearts and spiritual eyes to be opened. Light a fire in their souls Lord!

Beginning this Sunday we will begin collecting items for our mission team to bring to Honduras as well as to donate to Southfork Elementary at the beginning of the school year. Items needed include: basic school supplies such as paper,notebooks, pencils, crayons, scissors, glue etc., coloring books, stickers, balls (kickballs, soccer balls etc), frisbees, jumpropes, basic hygiene items such as soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes etc., and gently used school uniforms. If you would like to help there will be bins to drop off your items when you enter the sanctuary- Thanks so much for your generosity in helping those in need! 🖍📓🧼⚽️👕

It is with great pleasure that we the members of OneLife Baptist Church announce the election of our second pastor, Rev. Dana A. Trahan. Dana has been married to his wife Zanetta for 24 years and they have a 19 year old daughter, Elizabeth. The Trahans have been members of OneLife for 4 1/2 years. Dana has served at Walker Community Ministries and Florida Boulevard Baptist Church prior to this assignment. He holds a bachelors degree from Nicholls State University (Thibodaux, LA) and a Master’s Degree from Shorter University (Atlanta, GA). Dana is passionate about preaching and helping people come to know Jesus personally and grow into fully devoted followers of Christ. Dana enjoys cooking, fishing, and spending time with his family. Brothers and Sisters of OneLife Church, I am humbled and honored to serve as your next senior pastor. My heart is full and my spirit is lifted when I think about all that God is doing and wants to do with our fellowship of believers. I am reminded of the promise God made to Abram in Genesis 12 that all the families of the world would be blessed in him. Church family, we are the beneficiaries of the blessings of Abraham. Galatians 3:29 states “And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.” That is a reason for us to rejoice. But we have lots of work ahead. My commitment to you is to stay prayerful and to constantly seek the Lord’s direction as I faithfully strive to “equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” ~ Ephesians 4:12. Shout out to Dana for cutting the grass yesterday. If anybody would like to serve today, weed eating can be done so that round up can be sprayed, and as always stick and debris pickup around the piles and where dirt has been moved in the back so it can be graded flush. Burnable stuff to the burn pile, trash to the dumpster. If you got lopers anything you can reach around the trees and fence line is beneficial to the next person who cuts it. Switches to the face hurt. ***It did not rain a lick down there yesterday, so throwing stuff in the back of a truck to bring to the necessary location is doable***

UPDATE: MOWER IS DOWN THERE, GETTING TRACTOR Opportunity to serve. Mower will be down at the property on Thursday morning by 9, and will be there all day. If you would like to serve, the grass needs cutting and sticks need to be picked up and moved to the burn pile to continue to burn up the stumps.

Making God a first priority is Biblical and should be a joyous opportunity to fellowship with the body, in happiness and heartache. It is not leftover time that you present to God like a participation trophy. Thanks Addie for being obedient.
